Ford will debut images of the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition with new appearance upgrades on April 9 at the Motor Press Guild luncheon.
The event will be held at Ford Motor Company Design Center Showroom in Irvine, Detroit.

Since the first Ford Model T car was introduced with a rear body back in 1925, Ford has been "on the forefront of defining" how an American pickup truck should look and run according to a company press release.
Now over 80 years later, Doug Scott, Ford's marketing manager, will reveal and go into detail what the company's current position in the truck category will be by showcasing an exclusive preview of the new truck.
"With the industry focus on fuel-efficient, smaller cars, it's easy to forget that trucks are a dominant segment in the American market. This luncheon will give a closer look at the uniquely American truck market and the first look at the newest version of Ford's ultimate performance truck, the 2014 SVT Raptor Special Edition," said Aaron Gold, MPG president according to a company press release.
Scott will be discussing a number of other important issues at the event as well including Ford's current line-up of F-Series pickup and how the brand "maintains the necessary versatility" that draws people to the vehicles.
Scott will also discuss Ford Transit and Transit Connect next-generation fleet of vans that offers "leading" fuel economy and utility to meet the needs of entrepreneurs.
The luncheon will start at 11:30 a.m. and is an event only event.
