"The Winds of Winter" release date has been speculated to be further delayed. New reports claim George R.R. Martin was allegedly focusing his time on his newest studio instead of finishing the manuscript of the sixth novel of "A Song of Ice and Fire." However, GRRM immediately addressed the issue and declared the reports to be false news.

Speculations have circulated on the web saying the release date of "The Winds of Winter" would most likely be pushed back because GRRM is busy with his new studio. New reports claim that George R.R. Martin has been loaded with other things instead of completing "TWoW."

BleedingCool details that the author of "The Winds of Winter" is now busy with the opening of a non-profit movie production studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is apparently the latest project of GRRM after he has been busy with a short story with the "Game of Thrones" world setting.

The publication noted that GRRM is focused on this latest project called "Stagecoach Foundation" which sits on a 30,000-square-foot building. This huge building is allegedly built to host Hollywood film projects.

However, when news have reached George R.R. Martin's camp, the renowned author was annoyed (as reflected in his recent blog where he addressed the issue). He then made a new post on his blog to debunk the reports which he calls "full of errors."

On his blog dated March 19 titled "Bad Journalism," GRRM made firm statements to correct the news about him and the Stagecoach Foundation. According to "TWoW" author, he is not opening a film studio as Stagecoach is a foundation and not a film studio.

GRRM also noted that the Stagecoach building is not 30,000 square feet and that this figure was just made up by an unknown source and was unfortunately echoed in other reports. He also clarified that he did not "build" the foundation as it was David Weininger who founded it in 1999.

Now that the rumors about George R.R. Martin's activities were debunked by the author himself, it seems that there is a good chance that he is indeed busy with the completion of "The Winds of Winter" and not on the erroneous allegations on the foundation. Is "TWoW" coming out soon?
