2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport Review: The New Efficient And Affordable Car From Hyundai

Hyundai has always been known for its efficient and affordable cars. Now, the company has released its 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport, a sports car that has everything a driver needs.

The car comes with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that can produce 201 horsepower and 195 torque. It also has a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport has stylish look with a black hexagonal grill that has a turbo badge and a pronounced but good-looking side still extension. It also comes with a LED running lights, HID headlights, 18-inch wheels, and a dual exhaust outlet, reported Boston.

It has a wonderful exterior and a dramatic interior with a red stitching that accentuates the front seats' beefed-up side bolsters. The red stitching also allows the shifter boot, center armrest and steering wheel to pop up. It also has a cockpit enhancement that includes a black headliner, perforated alloy pedals, and red main gauge needles.

For the premium package, the car will have an additional 8-inch navigation screen and a great audio system. The car will have Hyundai's Blue Link connected car, including the connected-car systems.

Aside from that, the car will also have a power sunroof, blind spot detector and cross-traffic alert. It will also have an automatic climate control and auto-dimming rearview mirrors. However, this car does not have an expanded driver assist system.

According to Auto Trader, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport has a stiff chassis. To obtain this, Hyundai increased the use of high-strength steel to 53 percent.

The car also has 400 feet of structural adhesive, giving the car a more stable and rigid platform. It also comes with a higher spring rate and larger front-brake rotors to support the car's performance.

The new Hyundai car also boasts an efficient rear suspension. The company used multilink suspension that includes a stabilizer bar, to give the car a better performance.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport amounts to $23, 585. Its premium package costs $26,110, which includes a $125 Sport-branded carpeted mats.
