President Trump's Cadillac For Sale - Details Inside

President Donald J. Trump's Cadillac Limousine has been auctioned in England. It was sold for $67,773 (£54,625).

The Cadillac limousine was previously owned by current President of the United States, Donald Trump. It's a 1998 Trump Cadillac Golden Series (see photo above).

The car truly is special in its own way. It was built especially for Trump.

The sad Cadillac boasts some nostalgic 1980s touches such as a fax machine, a VCR player, and a bar inside. Naturally, it wouldn't be a Trump car without a safe inside.

The interior is knitted out in Italian leather seats and Rosewood paneling. What makes it more special is that it bears Trump's name on several badges all over its exterior.

According to reports, the car's history is still unclear to this point. Reports say that President Trump's Cadillac has been in the possession of mechanic Craig Eyres for the past decade.

Eyres kept the Cadillac limo in his workshop in Gloucester, in the west of England. Apparently, the car's existence was first mentioned in 1987 in President Trump's book "The Art of the Deal", where he told the story of how he and John Grettenberger, the head of Cadillac at the time, agreed to design a couple of distinct versions of the limousine.

The versions in question were the Trump Golden Series, and the Trump Executive Series. According to reports, President Trump was supposed to buy 50 of the cars. However, after production of both prototypes, he only bought one.

President Trump's Cadillac limousine was built on a stretched GMC C-platform. Another thing that makes the car unique is that the flooring was designed to be lower, and the roof higher than other cars. Making the interior more spacious.

A coachwork company, Fisher, built the bodywork. The said company specialized in custom-built cars for the GM group.

Under the hood, President Trump's Cadillac is powered by a 5-litre V8 engine. It was sold by Bonhams at Goodwood in Sussex, England on Sunday.
