Samsung Reveals The Color Options Of Its Latest Galaxy 8

Samsung Galaxy 8 phones have been leaked plenty of times over the past several weeks. With the latest leaks, there is more clarity on what colors the Galaxy 8 will have, and how much they might cost.

As reported by The Verge, the leaked images of the Samsung 8 come from Evan Blass. His images reveal that the new Samsung Galaxy 8 will be available in three colors: Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Arctic Silver. On top of that, he also tweeted that the phone will retail in Europe for €799 for the basic S8 while the S8+ will retail for €899.

According to Business Insider, these three colors may not be the only options available. Mobile analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the phones will come in seven different colors: gold, silver, orchid, blue, matte black, bright black, and pink. However, the availability of the colors may vary by region and mobile carrier.
Evan Blass also tweeted about the updated Gear VR headset that was announced last month, a new Gear 360 camera, and the DeX docking station. The most exciting accessory is the DeX.

DeX will allow the user to connect its Galaxy S8 to monitor and keyboard, thus turning the phone into a makeshift Android desktop computer. This concept has been tried in the past by Motorola but with little success. If this feature is confirmed, it will be interesting to see how Samsung is going to approach it this time around.

Samsung Galaxy 8 is expected to launch at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on March 29. Both phones will have large wraparound OLED displays with minimal bezels. Both phones are expected to have the newest and fastest Snapdragon 835 chipsets, voice assistant named Bixby, and 3.5mm headphone jack, among other features. The launch of Galaxy 8 is very important for the company, as they attempt to recover both financially and perceptually from the disastrous recall of its Galaxy Note 7 phone.
