Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 Specs Appealing To Non-iPad Users; May Even Be A Threat To The Surface Pro?

Some prefer the iPad some don't. For those who don't, the ultimate device may come in the form of Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2. Even iPad users may even be turned to converts, not to forget Surface Pro users as well. This tablet is packed with features that are geared towards giving its toughest competitions a good run for its money.

According to Laptop Mag, very important information about the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 was leaked during an FCC filing. It was strongly believed to be part of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, but it never appeared. It was the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and not the TabPro S2. However, because of the FCC filing information leaked, there is still hope that this talked about tablet will eventually be released.

Windows and Apple have been competing with each other over time. The TabPro S2 is Samsung's match for iPad for many good reasons. Some important details of the alleged upcoming tablet are: it will have 12-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display, a CPU of 3.1GHz Intel Core i5-7200U 7th Gen, Integrated Intel HD Graphics for its GPU, and a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM.

However, it is important to note that the FCC filing leak has yet to be confirmed by Samsung. Industry experts believe that leaks and other important updates pertaining to a certain upcoming device are mostly accurate, but it is not 100 percent. If these specs are indeed intended for Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2, then it is one solid device enough to get the seal of approval of gadget lovers and enthusiasts.

Given that the upcoming Samsung tablet is one big powerhouse, as mentioned it may also be up against Microsoft's Surface Pro. It is common knowledge that iPads and Surface Pros have dominated the market for quite some time. Well, that may not be for long if TabPro S2 enters the competition as either the Surface or iPad might step down and give way.

As added by The Verge, from the FCC filing, it was reported that the tablet will have four variants. It is dependent on the choice between Windows 10 Home or Pro, and LTE connectivity or not. Also, the said tablet will have strong battery life as it will come with 5070mAh battery with a 25W turbocharger. The upcoming tablet also has several ports available for connectivity such as SD card slot, two USB 3.0 Type-C ports, Bluetooth 4.1, 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC Wi-Fi, optional LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 is one device which industry experts hope to be officially released. This is to provide more options to consumers than just having Microsoft Surface Pro and iPad dominate the market. Any official news leading to its development and any related updates will immediately be reported.
