"For line-level signals that are accessible from a docking connection instead of standard headphone jack options, these docking cables create that connection without the interference and drop-off in quality level," said Steve Misbin , president of RAM Electronics said in a company press release. "This creates a superior, crisp sound that audiophiles prefer."
The USB-connection option lets users charge devices while playing music when a device is used with a base 12VDC or 120VAC 1-amp to USB accessories adapter according to RAM.
For those who are looking for the best sound quality they can use additional audio cables to connect devices to guitar amps, PA mixing boards, car stereos, boating units, radio and TV equipment and other audio equipment.
A number of different cables will be made available according to RAM to meet the needs of devices of all sizes. The choices will include 3.5mm Mini Phone Plug, dual XLR plugs, dual RCA, 30-pin dock connector with lightening compatibility, and dual 1/4-inch mono phone plugs.
RAM Electronics is based out of Cinnaminson, N.J. and was founded in 1977.
The company manufactures custom audio cables, wire harnesses and TV coax cable for electronic equipment according to the company press release.
