After five crashes occurred on Sunday night into Monday morning this week, a winding road is now being called the most dangerous in Britain according to the Examiner.

The crashes took place outside two ancient cottages according to the Daily Mail. The first crash occurred when one woman swerved off the road and into a yard nearby. Just a few minutes later, another driver crashed into the same yard.

As if the first two crashes weren't enough, by the next morning three more had occurred according to the Sun.

'It was pretty scary to see five crashes outside the house in the space of 12 hours," said Steve Cobbin, who said he's seen many crashes outside the 300-year-old cabins according to the Sun. "Over the last few years we've had four cars in our garden and a minibus on the wall following accidents."

At least one of the crashes resulted in a car slamming into a parked vehicle, and another drove right through a garden.

At a town meeting in 2012, the local parish council had to here a number of complaints over the dangerous road, and concerns over the bend in the road, which can get slippery during a rain or snow storm.

The council is currently considering altering the road for the safety of their town according to the Sun.

Cobbin stated that over the past 15 years he's seen so many crashes involving cars and trucks he's literally lost count. One time a truck dropped its entire load of beer in their garden, leaving Cobbin with dozens of kegs.

"We laugh about it now but my daughter who is 12, is very scared by it and we don't go in the garden any more," said Cobbin according to the Sun. "My wife has emailed our MP David Heath about this issue and been onto the county highways agency to do something about this problem."

The road is located in Somerset, which is approximately three hours from London by car according to the Examiner.
