Pokemon Sun and Moon is giving away a Mega Mewtwonite X and Y by using a Mega Mewtwo code. This giveaway spree is one of its latest after the launch of the game. 

Mewtwo is a very rare Pokémons character, this is why it came as a big surprise for Pokémon fans to find out that the two characters can be acquired with relative ease with a help of a single code. Most Pokémon giveaways can be acquired using QR codes. According to Eurogamer, the Mega Mewtonite giveaway takes it a little old-school by distributing the giveaway using a simple code. That code is: M2DESCENT.

The two Mega Mewtwos are some of the strongest characters in the game. Mewtwo is not available in either Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon so evolving it into a Mewtwonite takes a little bit of workaround. The trick is to bring Mewtwo into the Pokemon Bank through the Poke Transporter from an earlier game, according to Game Zone.

In redeeming the giveaway, players must access the Mystery Gift option on the main menu. Select Receive Gift and choose Get with Code/Password as a method of redemption. Enter the given codes and it will give out the Mega Stones. Next is to visit a deliveryman located in any Pokémon Center in order to pick up the Mega Stones. Make sure to save your progress before quitting.

Unfortunately for this giveaway, the original Mewtwo character is not available. This particular Pokémon is extremely rare and pretty tough to battle with making it hard to catch one. As for the current giveaway, there is no official word yet as to when it will expire. For not, Pokémon fans are flocking the game in order to get their hands into Mega Mewtwo.
