Blizzard finally revealed the latest hero of the "Overwatch" family. The new tank-like robot is named Orisa. Blizzard has added Orisa in the game after Ana and Sombra were already introduced. Orisa is defined as a tank character. Now, the number of heroes in the game is 24 after the addition of Orisa.

Orisa was a standard OR-15 robot unit designed to protect Numbani citizens from danger. This is before she joined the hero roster of "Overwatch." When Doomfist attacked Numbani, nothing was sufficient to stop him when he stole his gauntlet back. He left behind a trail of destroyed OR-15 chassis. Efi Oladele, an 11-year-old robotics prodigy salvaged a ruined OR-15 robot and rebuilt it from the ground up, resulting in Orisa. Orisa was created to stop further attacks, reported Gamerant.

Orisa has various weapons with which she attacks. The first is the Fusion Driver which is Orisa's automatic projectile cannon. This is the primary weapon which functions similar to a heavy machine gun.

The secondary weapon of Orisa is Halt. This weapon operates similarly to Zarya's Graviton ultimate technique. The only difference is that there is no duration to it. Halt is more of a straight-shooting mini graviton charge that can pull enemies around corners, Tech Times.

Orisa's Protective Barrier ability is large. It is basically a stationary shield that can be deployed anywhere as it is shot out of her cannon like a projectile. It is very portable and versatile.

The "Overwatch" director Jeff Kaplan describes Orisa as the "central anchor of her team." To describe further, Orisa is a heavy-set tank hero that functions both as a frontline attacker and a solid defender. It is still not known as to when Orisa will be patched into the game. Currently, the character is available to play on the Public Testing Realm (PTR) on the PC.
