Mass Effect Andromeda, Bioware's most anticipated title has finished development and has gone gold today. With that being said, the game is set and ready for packaging and shipment to retailers worldwide. The news came from the Bioware's official Twitter page.
"On behalf of our teams across Montreal, Edmonton and Austin, I'm excited to announce that Mass EffectTM: Andromeda will be launching in North America on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, and beginning Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Europe. We appreciate your patience (and in fact, even your lack of patience in some instances) as we've been focused on completing the game," says Bioware.
The developer also detailed the short context of what in store for Mass Effect Andromeda. "Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. We're telling completely new stories, creating new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems. And for the first time, we're bringing Mass Effect to the FrostbiteTM game engine, an incredible engine that's delivering a tremendous graphical jump from the trilogy to Mass Effect: Andromeda. To deliver on this, we're taking all the time we can to make sure you're getting the best possible experience."
In other news, the PC requirements for Mass Effect Andromeda has been released. For those who wish to play MEA PC version the minimum and recommended requirements have been revealed for easy guidance. There are no details yet regarding the level of quality these specifications can deliver. Nonetheless, this information is essential to successfully play the game on PC.
The minimum OS requirement is either a 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. Regarding CPU's minimum requirement the Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350, and RAM should be at least 8 GB. The graphic chipset should either be Nvidia GTX 660 2 GB, or AMD Radeon 7850 2 GB with a minimum of least 55 GB of free space on Hard Drive. Lastly, DirectX minimum requirement is DirectX 11.
For the recommended system requirement, the OS, DirectX, and Hard Drive requirement are the same. CPU should either be Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350 with RAM running on 16 GB. The graphic card should be either Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB, or AMD RX 480 4 GB.
