Hyundai released a teaser image of the concept vehicle, but has yet to reveal the specifics yet. Hyundai is looking to expand into the luxury market, and most believe the new HCD vehicle will help them do so.

The HCD-14 has been rumored to be similar to the four-door Audi A7 coupe, but nothing has been confirmed by Hyundai yet. The vehicle will no doubt compete with the A7, as well as the Mercedes-Benz CLS, the first four-door coupe model.

"The HCD-14 concept will give the automotive world a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics," said Hyundai in the press release.

The vehicle will be on display for the first time ever at the North American International Auto Show on Jan. 14.

The new model has also been compared to the unreleased 2014 Hyundai Genesis by CarBuzz.com. The Genesis model is expected to come equipped with 3.8-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 options, mated to an eight-speed automatic.
