Since the release of the Apple's watchOS 3 last year, it already had a lot of features and significant changes that made the whole tech world watch out for more. With this coming year 2017, it is rumored that there are still more exciting and highly innovative updates that are in store for consumers and fans out there and take note - a new model of watchOS, the watchOS 4!

But before tackling the "rumored release" of the watchOS 4, let's take a look at the various and impressive beta program features the watchOS 3 already has. The version of the watchOS 3.2, according to Macworld, has a Sirikit wherein consumers can use the smartwatch to interact using 3rd party applications.

It enables users of the device to make payments, send messages via its chat application and so much more. However, not all of the apps can take advantage of the Sirikit. They can only be available on selected domains like ride bookings, workouts, payments, etc.

Another notable and latest update is the Theater Mode as reported by Techradar. It allows t disable the "raise to wake" feature. It ensures that the screen will not turn on in the dark theater and avoid the annoying lights other people will see once inside the theater. Notifications are still turned on and can easily be checked with a simple tap on the screen, using the side button or the Digital Crown. However, the Theater Mode is still in beta testing that's why consumers will have to wait for a bit more before it can be fully utilized.

While these updates are also in the pipeline, rumors of a new watchOS 4 is said to be released alongside other updates which are also said to be released a few months from now. Rumors are speculating that it would be by June 2017 in time for the WWDC event. Users and fans can expect of a new sleep tracking app that will enable users to monitor movement while asleep and it will be supported in other Apple Watch models as well.
