The Viking-themed tactical RPG, Banner Saga will soon have its comeback after completing crowdfunding in Kickstarter. Game Developer, Stoic expressed their gratitudes and is excited to finally reveal the third and final installment of the Banner Saga.

Banner Saga 3 successfully completed the $200,000 goal in Kickstarter with a remaining of 34 days. This proves how positive the gaming community about the said saga. Stoic teases its adoring fans on a press release with small details on what to expect on Banner Saga 3.

"In Banner Saga 3, players will embark on their final journey beyond the wall of Darkness to traverse the world unlike anything encountered in previous sagas. The beautiful hand drawn Viking role-playing adventure will once again test the player's resolve through epic tactical battles against deadly adversaries where a player's choice directly affects their personal journey."

To recall, Stoic also completed crowdfunding back in 2012. The company successfully raised $723,886 which made them released Banner Saga in January 2014. Obviously, the Viking-themed RPG received positive reviews and feedbacks.

Also, Stoic announced that once crowdfunding reaches $250,000, they will add Dredge which are humanoid beings made of stones. The Dredge were the primary antagonists in the past installments. They are classified into three; the Stoneguard, Hurler, and Stonesinger.

Stoic announced that further information regarding concepts and gameplay will be announced in the near future. "This is just the beginning, though! This is when the fun starts and from here on out its cherries on top for everyone," says Stoic. Banner Saga 3 runs until March 7 in Kickstarter.
