This Dragster is not just a normal beast - it is equipped with jet engines. No, that is not a typo error. Jet engines were used to transform this beast into a monster. It is now named "Insanity" - a perfectly suited name.

Road and Track recently reported about "Insanity", and it has caught thousands of fans' attention. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce jet engines.

According to CBC, this insane dragster was built by Canadian Ryan McQueen - a rather fitting name as well. McQueen started to work on "Insanity" back in 2004. The project was inspired by a jet-powered dragster for the first time at a race.

Although McQueen isn't exactly an engineer, he did have some serious skills to have pulled this off. According to reports, he sold his Corvette and started designing this car from scratch.

All in all, McQueen spent approximately $69,00 on the build. Twelve long years and tons of cash later, he is getting ready to use "Insanity" in a race for the first time. According to him, he hopes to race for the first time next summer. How fast can it go? Well, it's supposed to run at a top speed of 400mph!

Despite "Insanity's" lack of experience on the track, this beauty has had its fair share of the spotlight. So far, McQueen has shown off "Insanity" at several drag races, some air shows and even at local parades. It is also viral on social media.

Its design looks like a Ferrari Enzo - a jet-powered Ferrari Enzo Dragster. Looking at the car, nobody would believe it was only built in a garage. And that fact just makes it all better.
