Sam Worthington was arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct at an Atlanta restaurant.
The "Avatar" actor was trying to get into a restaurant called The Vortex when he got into an argument with the doorman about not having the proper identification to enter according to TMZ. Worthington is in Atlanta shooting an action film called "Ten" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Worthington was charged with disorderly conduct and fighting according to The Huffington Post, but both charges were dismissed in court earlier this morning. The charges were dropped because the bouncer failed to show up to the court hearing.
Worthington's rep has yet to comment on the incident.
Police told TMZ that the bouncer Jerry Link also felt Worthington was too intoxicated to enter the bar and grill restaurant, which is what caused Worthington to reportedly push the Link down twice.
Link then used pepper spray to restrain the actor before calling the police. According to the police reports, Worthington went willingly to the police station where he was then booked and officially charged for the incident.
The actor was then released on $453 bail.
The Vortex has declined to comment about the incident so far and is denying the media access to the surveillance camera footage of the event.
