Thanks to his newest video "Beauty and a Beat", Justin Bieber became the first artist to receive three billion total views on YouTube.
Bieber's newest video, which features Nicki Minaj, debuted a little over a week ago and already has 44 million views as of Wednesday. The 18-year-old broke his own 2011 record when he became the first person to break 2 billion total YouTube views.
"Beauty and a Beat" will be released officially on November 12 according to Billboard, but it is available to download on iTunes already.
His latest album "Believe" went number one in June and has sold over a million copies in the U.S. according to Billboard.
He is currently in the middle of his international "Believe" tour, which according to The Huffington Post has made $6.2 million and has sold over 80,000 tickets.
Bieber surpassed 2 billion YouTube views last year when he released his holiday song "Mistletoe" which got 27 million views its first week alone. His highest viewed video is for the song "Baby" which features Ludacris. The song currently has over 790 million views.
The pop-star is close to becoming the most-followed person on Twitter as well. With 29.3 million followers, Bieber currently only trails Lady GaGa's 30.5 million followers.
It is fitting that Bieber holds the record for most YouTube views due to the fact that he was discovered on the video uploading website in 2007.
