BMW X3 M Rumored To Be Launched In 2018; Spy Photos Reveal Details [Video]

Spy photos reveal a new SUV on the works at the BMW garage and this is the 2019 BMW X3 M that is rumored to be sold in the market in 2018. This is considered as a high-performance edition of the BMW X3 and will come out after the regular version arrives at the market. This crossover is rumored to have an engine that produces 425 horsepower.

Despite the camouflage that covered the 2019 BMW X3 M prototype, there were details that were highly noticeable. This version is wider and lower than the prototype of the next X3 and fitted with big wheels, brakes and tires. It was clad in the hexagonal mesh pattern that was first seen on the M2. The 2019 BMW X3 M sported four exhaust pipes located at the rear, according to Motor Authority.

BMW cars are known for their powerful engines, which means that the 2019 BMW X3 M is sure to have powerful powertrains. The most likely source of power for this car is the 3.0-liter with line-six twin turbo that produces 425 horsepower. It can go from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds and can maintain a maximum speed of 155 mph. Its suspensions are expected to get some upgrades as well, according to SUV and Trucks.

The 2019 BMW X3 M indicates great power as indicated by the sound it emits during the road test at the Nurburgring tracks. During the test though, it was noticed that the suspension of this SUV is a little bit stiff and it is expected to receive some tweaks after the road test. While the 2019 BMW X3 M may not have phenomenal speed, it is still bound to be one of the most agile cars in the BMW series, according to Car Scoops.

The 2019 BMW X3 M is expected to debut in any of the upcoming auto shows and will be sold in the market in 2018. While the actual price is not yet known, BMW fans can expect no less than $60,000.This SUV will be a challenge to Audi RS Q5, Porsche Macan Turbo, Jaguar F-Pace SVR and Mercedes-AMG GLC63.
