Nintendo has announced that their Nintendo store in New York City will have stocks of the bestselling NES Classic edition by 9 AM of Dec. 29. Odds are that its stock is now running low or already have been sold out. Those who plan on hoarding the retro console might want to reconsider as they are planning to sell one item per customer only.
The NES Classic Edition has been in drought in terms of supply and being on top of every official announcement, such as the tweet below, is the only way to get updates on how to grab the hot item.
How many Nintendo NES Classic Edition units are being sold?
There's no official word on how many units were deployed at the Nintendo Store in New York. This type of supply and demand imbalance has pushed fans to doubt about Nintendo's capability on handling their inventory. This would also mean that whoever was lucky enough to get a Nintendo NES Classic Edition, or two, at the Nintendo Store in New York now have the option to resell it for a price way higher.
Nintendo NES Classic Edition is Sold Out At GameStop, Again
An update of a post at BGR today says the NES Classic edition is already sold out despite the high prices they were sold at. They came up with a couple of bundles priced over $100. The NES Classic Strategy Edition was priced at $104.99 while the NES Classic Edition Bundle with Console Backpack and Extension Cable was sold at $109.99. Check out GameStop.com for updates, who knows, they may be able to restock sooner or later.
