Westgate Resorts CEO David Siegel Will Fire Employees If Obama Wins 2012 Election (READ LETTER)

The CEO of Westgate Resorts has reportedly sent an email to all of his employees stating that if President Barack Obama is re-elected this coming November, they are all out of a job.

David Siegel, who is also the founder of the Florida-based Resort sent the email out on Wednesday as a warning to his employees, hoping to convince them on who they should vote for this November.

The alternative if Obama does win again? He plans on retiring to a Caribbean beach with "no workers to worry about."

Many employees read the note and thought it was a joke. They were quickly informed that Siegel was dead serious. Many companies sent out similar letters in 2008 when President Obama was first running for election to try and emphasize how he would impact many of the nation's top businesses.

Upon seeing examples of those letters from the last election, Siegel decided to do them one better by threatening to fire employees if they didn't vote for Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Siegel and his wife Jackie were the focal point of the documentary "The Queen of Versailles," which is about their goal to build the largest house in America.

Siegel admitted in the documentary that he sent out surveys in 2000 to see which employees liked now former President George Bush over democratic nominee Al Gore. If the employee answered that he or she liked Bush, he made them register to vote, but if they answered Gore they were not.

He also said he made roughly 80,000 phone calls through an electronic message to make sure people voted for Bush. He would also put negative articles about Gore in with his employee's paychecks to make sure they read them before the election. He has since admitted helping Bush was a mistake.

Other CEO's to try and influence the way their employers vote include BOB Murray who is the CEO of a coal company Murray Energy and Richard Lacks, a CEO of a car parts manufacturer.

According to The Huffington Post, Lacks is stressing to his employees that the company will be taxed higher if Obama is re-elected thus equaling a decrease in their pay. Murray meanwhile forced employees to participate in a pro-Romney rally and if they didn't they would risk getting fired.
