Matt Kenseth might have won Sunday's Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 at Talladega, but the driver receiving all the media attention is Tony Stewart for what he caused during it.

25 cars were taken out on the final lap of the race after Stewart tried to block a car from passing. Along with major car damages, the crash sent debris soaring everywhere.

"I just screwed up. I turned down and cut across Michael and crashed the whole field," said Stewart in a press conference after the race. "It was my fault, blocking and trying to stay where I was at. I was trying to win the race and I was trying to stay ahead of Matt there and I turned across the front of his car. Just a mistake on my part but cost a lot of people a bad day."

Jeff Gordon finished second place in the race, followed by Kyle Busch who took third. Gordon said that crashes are expected at Talladega, and like most drivers he feels that Stewart is being a little too hard on himself.

For someone who has struggled all year like Dale Earnhardt Jr. has however, the crash mattered a lot. Earnhardt Jr. was not pleased with Stewart's driving as Talladega is dangerous enough as it is.

"It's not safe. It's bloodthirsty. If this was what we did every week, I wouldn't be doing it," said Earnhardt Jr. after the race in a press conference." I'll just put it to you that way. If this was how we raced every week, I'd find another job. That's what the package is doing. It's really not racing. It cost a lot of money right there."

Brad Keselowski finished seventh, but is still leading all other drivers in points with 2179 as the race for the Sprint Cup continues. He leads Jimmie Johnson, who has 2165 points, by 14 points.

Luckily no one was injured.
