Tis The Season To Buy New Cars

December is the perfect month to get the best deals on a new vehicle, be it a car, an SUV, or a pickup truck. Why, you ask? It's because carmakers pull out all the stops in order to maximize their year-end gross sales, therefore, the time to buy a new car.

There is huge cash around. Automakers burn their money at car dealers just to assist them with low-cost vehicles and close deals. For example, dealers earn greater rewards from the manufacturers if they hit their specific goals.

According to Forbes, here are some of the irresistible deals that you may want to consider as the year ends:

The Cadillac ATS is a pretty decent four-door sedan. Smaller than the CTS, the Cadillac ATS is a well-appointed cabin that comes with a 2.0 liter, turbo-charged direct injection engine with a winter package that includes heated seats and back-up camera stickers for $40,335. But according to Edmunds.com, the True Market Value price is $36,651.

2016 Ford Flex SEL AWD is a wonderful family and trip car. This version is priced at $35,255, according to Consumer Reports, but it now has a 10 percent discount. But show up at the dealership and express your interest, because there is a chance that you will get it at an even bigger discount.

The Nissan Murano AWD SL is a very good five-seat crossover. At a 15 percent discount, you can get it at $40,000. That is already a whopping $6,000 off. Nissan is one of the companies that gets very aggressive with discounts as the year ends.

2016 Kia Forte is a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine car. Since a lot of car buyers still think that Kia is the Rodney Dangerfield of the car industry, its models offer a lot value and competitive quality as well as discounts, especially at the end of the year. At a 15 percent discount from its original price, $18,000, the Kia Forte deal is a bargain.

The Lincoln MKZ, with the same engineering platform as the Ford Fusion but with certain quirks like visibility out the rear window and goodies that premium/luxury cars charge extra for, was subtracted by 15 percent. The price starts at $35,000: not bad for a new car.

The Hyundai Veloster (manual) $18,000, a three-door hatchback, funky-looking car is currently on a 25 percent discount. That's a pretty decent deal for the brand new vehicle.
