'NCIS Los Angeles' Cast to Leave the Show; Will It Be Daniela Ruah or Miguel Ferrer? Video

"NCIS Los Angeles" TV show fans were intrigued by spoilers of the show saying that one character would be leaving soon. While Daniela Ruah was the most likely candidate, there were rumors that it would be Miguel Ferrer due to illness.

The plot of "NCIS Los Angeles"  had been set already for Daniela Ruah's maternity leave. Daniela Ruah, who played the role of Kensi Blye, an NCIS agent, was seriously wounded during her mission in Syria. In the episode, she was brought back to the US for hospitalization and she had been comatose since then. This explained her absence from "NCIS Los Angeles" show but she confirmed that she would return soon, according to Video Games Republic.

With Daniel Ruah's confirmed return, Migue Ferrer was considered the most likely to go. While Ferrer's illness was not yet confirmed, a sign that he was having health problems was his slurred speech in the past episodes of "NCIS Los Angeles". In addition, Miguel Ferrer's family history would make him a most likely candidate for cancer. His parents were both victims of the deadly disease. His father had colon cancer and her mother had lung cancer, according to Morning News USA.

Miguel Ferrer plays the role of NCIS Assistant Director in the TV show "NCIS Los Angeles" and attained regular status in 2013. Aside from the NCIS Los Angeles TV show, he also starred in "Robocop" in 1987, "Crossing Jordan" in 2001, and "Iron Man 3" in 2013. While the illness rumor was never confirmed, what was certain was that Miguel Ferrer will be returning to "Twin Peaks", a TV show that aired in 1990 to 1991, where he played the role of FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield, according to Morning Ledger.

"NCIS Los Angeles" will air its 8th season and that's the time for fans to know who gets to leave the show.
