Five new variants of the revised Toyota Mark X with Safety Sense P are now officially released in Japan.
Japanese Toyota lovers now have better options among the newest car models in Toyota Mark X's second generation lineup: the 350RDS; the 250RDS; the 250S; and the 250S Four, which is a four-wheeler; the 250G/250G Four; and the 250G/250G Four with the F Package.
One highlight of this release is the introduction of Toyota Safety Sense P active suite on every variant, the latest addition to Toyota's branding for Mark X. What's good in this feature is its ability to avoid or alleviate forward collision once it detects a vehicle or pedestrian, thanks to its forward-facing radar and camera. Indeed, the introduced active safety suite is simply amazing. Isn't it?
Toyota Mark X Safety Sense P also features an Automatic High Beam, which is one of its multi-feature active safety bundles; along with a Lane Departure Alert and Steering Assist function, as well as a Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. For any revised Mark X owners, options may include having the vehicle set with Blind Spot with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, as reported on TopSpeed.
Toyota thinks about giving the interior and exterior parts of the revised Mark X a touch of modern engineering and mechanical enhancements, as well as visually pleasing designs.
The vehicles are powered by a 2GR-FSE 3.5 litre, naturally-aspirated V6 locomotive; generating 318 PS at 6,400 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm; and 4GR-FSE 2.5 litre, naturally-aspirated V6 locomotive with 203 PS at 6,400 rpm and 243 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.
Mark X also gets a revamp on its front bumper, headlamps, grille, and add-on shift from LED to ED DRLs. Aluminum wheels, measuring 16-inch and 18-inch, has now become standard wheels; which is used for a better road experience, according to PaulTan's blog post.
The facelifted and revised secondhand Mark X variants cost from 2,656,00 --- but up to 3,50,200 yen in Japan, depending on the variant of choice.
