Microsoft's backwards compatibility program for Xbox One celebrates its first year anniversary. Gamers can play a growing number of Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. Users can play both generations of games in one console both digital and disc-based titles. Microsoft's backwards compatibility program is so successful that it would have more years to come in the tech and gaming world.

Gaming for the month November would be busy since "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" released early on. Microsoft would be saving some of the best Games with Gold Titles for less busy months. The recent "Red Dead Redemption 2" is being eyed by fans that Microsoft might give it away for free,  WWG reported.

According to Express, "Galaga Legions" and "Joe Danger 2: The Movie" can claim now via XBox One Backwards Compatibility "The Orange Box from Valve," including "Team Fortress 3," "Half-Life 2: Episode 2" and "Portal" can be downloaded and played with the availability of other 250+ games.

Players and fans would be happier because they can still play their old Xbox 360 games even if they already had upgraded to the Xbox One. This is really a good move by Microsoft, with this program, they showed that they valued their customers' loyalty and joy of their old games.

The Digitally owned games should pop up in the owner's Games App Library. The buyers of physical copies or the old Xbox 360 discs can be placed in the console and also with the downloaded old games. The tech giant is not yet working on the Backwards Compatibility program as of the moment but is now planning to expand the said program.

Xbox chief Phil Spencer stated that they are not working on it right now but they would find time to do it. Xbox fans, for sure, are now expecting the expansion of the program for more games to play and relive the joys from the Xbox 360 games.
