2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata: Update with New Features

The Mazda Mx-5 Miata is the latest addition to the Miata line. The two-door, mini convertible sports car is back again with a few adjustments. But not to worry - the comfortability is still there.

The Exterior

There is more to the Miata than just a sharp look. It has an aluminum hood and aluminum trunk lid, making it more durable as well as lightweight. Headlights and tail lights both come with a LED. It is also capable of running daytime lights. Additionally, it has a body colored front, rear bumpers and door handles, solar control-green tinted windshield that comes with a variable intermittent windshield wiper.

The best part of the Miata MX-5 design is the black cloth convertible top, black power side mirrors, glass rear window, rear-mounter mast antenna and black seat back bar trim. With a 16-inch silver aluminum alloy wheels, 195/50 R16 high-performance tires and it comes with a tire puncture repair kit.

The Interior

The main goal for the Mazda Miata is giving comfort to the driver and the passenger. Hence, the interior comes with so many perks. The interior consists of a manual air conditioning, heater/defroster with multiple speed fan, rear window defoggers, power windows with the driver and passenger one touchdown feature, front side window demisters, cruise control, power locks with speed sensor, push button ignition, advance keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free phone, and audio, remote keyless with panic mode (available for manual transmission only), driver and passenger vanity mirror, 12-volt power outlet, mesh aero board wind blocker and courtesy overhead lamp with dimming.

The Engine

The Mazda MX-5 Miata engine type is the SKYACTIV G 2.0 liter DOHC 16-valve, 4 -cylinder with VVT. Running on 155 horsepower up to 6000 RPM and 148 lb-ft at 4600 rpm torque. It is fueled by Premium unleaded, 91 octanes or greater or a regular unleaded, 87 octanes or greater.
