Hyundai Elantra Is Car Maker's Contender At SEMA 2016? Upgrades Revealed Here!

The Hyundai Elantra model has not been perceived as a sports car contender but with the SEMA 2016 nearing, it has been revealed that the association has been cooking up with ARK Performance a brand new version of the vehicle to become a participant at the event.

The SEMA 2016 event has been deemed as the hub where the most unusual cars to ever make the race track would be updated to compete as a sports car. For this year, the Hyundai Elantra has been revealed to be upgraded to fit that very description.

Hyundai, along with ARK Performance, has transformed the Hyundai Elantra with the ARK Road Racer Elantra Concept, according to MSN. With the racers expected to compete in time attack vehicles, both contributors have made it more aggressive than ever.

The Specs

To start off, the exteriors of the vehicle was installed with ARK Solus wide body kit, has ARK lightweight counterfeit wheels, a Diere Customs vinyl wrap, and that of an APR Performance front splitter.

Although there have been announcements made about what the customers can expect for the car, both developers have been mum about the Hyundai Elantra concept's specific powertrain details.

With respect to the engine, the Hyundai Elantra was installed with an ARK turbo kit, ARK downpipe, and GRiP exhaust system. A Turbosmart blow-off valve and wastegate also improved the car's performance level as well.

What Can Customers Expect?

In other news, Hyundai engineers had been banking on impressing the car enthusiasts with the superb product, according to Motor Trend. In fact, it was attested by Kevin Bentley, the concept developer, that the ARK Road Racer Elantra Concept would wow the customers with the enhancements they have installed.

With respect to the SEMA 2016 event, it will be held on Nov. 1-4. With a brand new enhanced Hyundai Elantra installed with the ARK Road Racer Elantra Concept, will the vehicle reign supreme come next month?
