The 2016 Nissan Leaf is one of the most sought out electric cars in the United States and other countries today. If you are one of those wanting to drive one, then take the opportunity and go to Madison today as a couple of Madison dealerships are offering 2016 all-electric Nissan Leaf at almost 50 percent off the regular price until October 31.
Madison Gas and Electric, Wisconsin Clean Cities, Rosen Nissan of Madison and Zimbrick Eastside Nissan in Madison joined forces and enter an agreement to offer their 2016 Nissan Leaf to almost 50% off its original price.
The goal is to build awareness and to continue to educate people about the many benefits of electric vehicles and finally choose it rather than fuel. So far, sales of hybrid and electric cars are growing in recent months in the US and all over the globe. However, this is still not enough to really impact the automotive industry.
The promo actually started last August and originally was supposed to end last September 30. But the demand is still high, responses are awesome and their customers are requesting for an extension. Thus, the distributors head the calling and extend the discounted price until October 31.
"The response to this discount has been great, there are about 20 Leafs sold in one dealership in just a month. We are excited to extend the discount for another month, raising the level of interest in EVs and making the all-electric Nissan Leaf available to a wider audience," said Scott Ericson, sales manager for Zimbrick Eastside Nissan. "
To satisfy the most environmentally friendly, the 2016 Nissan Leaf was created. It is by far the most in-demand model in the pure electric segment on a global level and thanks to its new battery of 30 kWh, autonomy increased by 30% and can now reach 250 kilometers in one charge. The Nissan Leaf is truly a must buy and now you have a chance to get it at a discounted price.
Zimbrick and Rosen are offering discounts totaling $8,231 and zero percent financing for up to 72 months to qualified buyers who purchase a 2016 Nissan Leaf, which starts at $29,010. In addition to the dealership and Nissan financing discounts, buyers also are eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500.
Other Nissan distributors across the country are also offering awesome discounts for the Nissan Leaf or at least a good leasing option. Because of this, about 10,000 Nissan Leafs have been purchased across the U.S. so far this year, according to monthly sales figures compiled by InsideEVs. While an estimated total of 120,000 electric vehicles has been purchased from January to September this year, which is about the same sales as 2015 whole year sale.
It's awesome to see the EV world rising up and manufacturers as well as dealerships helping each other to promote it.
