It's two strikes for the Ford Mustang as The Chevrolet Camaro grabbed the win on the most saleable muscle car in the car industry for September 2016. After beating the rival with its upgraded transmission feature, will the 'Stang be able to still overshadow the Bumblebee vehicle?
Back in 2014, the Chevrolet Camaro won over the Ford Mustang muscle car when it grabbed the title as the largest in monthly sales during October of that year. Ford was only able to sell 4,565 'Stang units which ended its reign over car sales against the Cam.
'Stang vs Cam Car Sales
As reported by Torque News, the Chevrolet Camaro has been dominating car sales for the third time this year, kicking Ford Mustang off its winning streak. In fact, General Motors, the manufacturer of the franchise, finally outsold both the crosstown competition. The 'Stang was able to reign supreme, however, over the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro since October 2014.
The sales for Chevrolet Camaro has risen to 25.4% since September while the Ford Mustang was only able to sell 6,429 units - a number not enough to beat the Bumblebee off the top spot.
With respect to the other rival of the two models, the Dodge Challenger was third in rank with only 5,698 units sold. The American muscle cars Dodge Challenger TA and Charger Daytona even declined in sales this year and is expected to maintain the downfall in upcoming months.

In other news, Motoring Crunch reported that the Chevrolet Camaro 1LE package has been anticipated by muscle car enthusiasts as it was said to be created as more competitive towards the Ford Mustang V6 and Dodge Challenger Hellcat.
The upcoming model was reported to be packed with a 355 hp. engine, installed with a turbocharged 3.6-liter engine, is available in a six-speed manual transmission, has updated its 20-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels, and has Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers, among others.
The Chevrolet Camaro may have lost the Lightning Lap 2016 race against its muscle car rivals but, fortunately, it did reign supreme in car sales for September of this year.
