Amazon recently announced that, unfortunately, the series "Hand of God" will not be permitted for another season. The production crew is said to be wrapping up for its second season, which will premiere this December as its final installment on the small screen.
The "Hand Of God" production crew is currently wrapping up filming as we speak for its second season. According to Deadline, the upcoming season will be the last of the series on screen as the show will not come back for a third installment.
As reported by TV Series Finale, Ron Perlman will be back to portray Pernell Harris for "Hand of God" season two. Returning cast members also include Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt, Andre Royo, and Alona Tal.
During an interview, Perlman admitted that he was quite challenged with the show's script. He manifested that the written work scared him due to the character's emotional state. He also claimed that he saw the challenge as a step to proving that he's a gutsy actor as he saw the role as compelling, reported Variety.
"Hand of God" tells the story of a corrupt judge who claimed to have encountered God himself who ordered him to administer vigilante justice in court, particularly rapists who broke his family apart. In fact, it was manifested that his realization was a somewhat mental breakdown due to instances wherein he claimed to have experienced visions sent by God through his son.
"Hand Of God" season two will premiere this coming December only on Amazon. Although the series will not be back on television screens for its third season, the network still has programs such as "The Man In The High Castle," which is based on the Philip K. Dick 1962 alternate history novel and that of "Goliath," based on the 1960s-set "Goof Girls Revolt" created by David E Kelley.
Both series will premiere on Amazon this coming October of 2016.
