15 Busiest Auto Plants In U.S.

Among the 15 most productive auto plants in the U.S, Automobile Magazine takes a peep in all those busy auto plants and finds out which one is the "busiest."  

Among the 15 listed auto plants, Ford and its Kansas City and Dearborn plants claimed the first two spots for 2011. The Kansas City plant produced 460,338 vehicles in 2011. And the majority among the numbers included the production of 2012 Escape models with the remainder made up of 135,039 F Series versions.

Ford built 343,888 models of F Series pick-up trucks and Lincoln Mark LT trucks at its Dearborn auto plant. A little further to Georgetown, Kentucky is the largest Toyota Motors auto plant. And the world class automaker made 315,889 Camry models.
