Land Rover is going all out in making sure that their new 2018 Discovery is out there for the world to know, including a skydiving stunt involving Bear Grylls.

The British car manufacturing company 2018 Discovery has a seven-seat interior that can be reconfigured with the use of a smartphone. A promotional video of the new Land Rover line shows the British adventurer and six skydivers from the Royal Navy Parachute display team jumping from a high altitude while he deploys the power-operated SUV's middle and rear seats.

The promo of Grylls and the skydivers is a simple demonstration of the new vehicle's versatility, which meant that the driver of the vehicle can choose to fold the seats either up for a group of people that might ride along, or fold the seats down as one carries out his or her groceries or other purchases from a grocery or department store, according to Pocket-Lint.

Aside from a smartphone application, potential owners of the 2018 Discovery can also activate the seat folding feature through the luggage area, switches on the C-pillar, and using the touchscreen display on the dashboard, according to Auto Blog.

Land Rover has said that the SUV can transition from a two-seater vehicle into a seven-seater vehicle in just 14 seconds, and that this feature will work in other 2018 Discovery vehicles being sold around the world.

Besides the video, Land Rover also released the first images of the 2018 Discovery, which shows the front part of the SUV for everyone to see. The boxy lines of the LR4, which will be available in 2017, have been smoothed for the Discovery's transition, according to Fourwheeler.com.

Fans who are eager to have the 2018 Discovery with foldable seats all to themselves can expect the new car to be fully unveiled on the eve of the Paris Motor Show on September 28.
