Daimler vs Tesla News: Daimler Releases 6 New Electric Car Models?

It appears that Daimler is eager to win against Tesla- the company which has been making headlines because of their electric car models. But it looks like the former is more ambitious than we thought.

Sources from Reuters revealed that Daimler will launch six fresh car models. The report continued by stating that the German automaker might release three more.

The car company is planning to unveil the models starting in 2018 to 2024. The outlet wrote that Daimler has been working hard to produce premium and high-quality vehicles that should surpass Tesla's performance.

Notably, electric cars have become the new trend among car owners worldwide. Add the fact that there is an ongoing backlash against diesel with the emission scandals that has been reported here and there.

As a result, many are now switching to electric vehicles and  the car companies must have thought that this is a big opportunity to increase the production. Sourced from Automobilwoche, the outlet specified the plan for Daimler vs Tesla rival.

According to the website, the former will focus on crossovers and SUVs, although there would also be compact cars and sedans. Additionally, they might also work on a w a plug-in hybrid SUV that relies on a hydrogen fuel cell when its 30-mile electric range runs out. 

Daimler must be making these moves to level Tesla's future plans about their electric cars. However, the details about those plans are still scarce and we might still need to wait for more updates furthermore.
