Tesla Motors Opens Up New Electric Car Store In San Francisco; The Largest Branch In North America

Tesla, despite facing controversies apparently, opened up a new electric car store in San Francisco. The newest branch is considered the largest store in North America.

According to Green Car Reports, it is already expected that Tesla will build a new store in the Golden State. So far, Tesla also considers California as one of their biggest market in the United States.

The latest branch is located on Van Ness Avenue was previously one of Chevrolet's showroom in 1937. Bloomberg reports that the latest stall encompasses 65,000 square feet which handles sales, service, and deliveries.

The latest Tesla stores is an addition for the "Auto Row" lane. One of the existing dealerships in the area is British Motor Cars, which sells different models of Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Lamborghini cars, to mention few.

The launch of the new branch will pave way Tesla's introduction of the upcoming car, the Model 3. Tesla's president of global sales and service Jon McNeill was one of the hosts during the opening ceremony.

"Model 3 reservations skew young and urban. What makes this our flagship store is that the Bay Area is really our home," McNeill said in an interview last Tuesday.

It appears that Tesla is expanding to gain more customers and profit. Aside from the newest branch in San Francisco, the company is planning to build dealerships in other parts of the world.

"We are adding stores in new population-dense markets like Taipei, Seoul, and Mexico City, while also adding stores in our most mature markets like California," Tesla said in the letter.

Tesla is getting ready for the launch of Model 3. According to the website, the new electric car would impress the potential buyers.

Meanwhile, let us wait for further updates about the newest Tesla branch and regarding the much-anticipated Model 3 here at AutoWorldNews.
