Honda Recalls 50,000 2012 Civic Cars

 Honda officially announced a recall of 50,000 2012 Honda Civic cars in U.S. 

Sources inside the Japanese auto maker said the reason for the recall involves a technical snag based on how the driveshaft was assembled.Technical experts at Honda said the technical snag in the driveshaft would lead to the engine to lose power.

According to Reuters, Honda said it will take all the possible measures to fix the problem. "And if needed," according to the statement, "the company would also go to an extent of replacing the latest driveshaft in all the faulty ones." Accordng to The New York Times fixing of the technical snag will apply to both two and four door Civic models. Official sources confirm that the recalling of the Honda Civic models applies to both 50,000 models in the U.S. as well as 14,000 models supplied to the other countries as well.

Honda Motors also announced that, so far, no reported cases of injuries or accidents have been reported from the technical snag in the driveshaft. But the world class automakers received more than 23 reported cases of problems due to the technical snag in the driveshaft. Honda Motors also issues an official notice to all the owners and drivers of the 2012 Honda Civic to report to the nearest Honda showrooms to fix the technical snag free of cost.
