The competition is getting fiercer for all carmakers all across the globe. As for 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan Leaf, and BMW i3, owing to their similar design of incorporating hatchbacks led to scrutiny and firing bashes from consumers.

A report from Daily Sun indicated unlike Hyundai and Tesla, 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan Leaf, and BMW i3 are still incorporating the hatchback design that is creating unsettledness for consumers and the constant backfiring has also gained momentum.

It is undeniable that consumers wanted car designs to be sleek and yet stylish as well. It is the concept that has gained Tesla and Hyundai consumers in the past. However, the 2017 Chevy Bolt is not all about design but the features that goes with it. It did not place much emphasis on design and style. All the more, Nissan Leaf got more bashing and criticisms in comparison to the 2017 Chevy Bolt.

On a different note, the Nissan Leaf has also been projected to have been using other features specially the 33 cartoon images displayed and it resembled Japanese comics and cartoons, manga and anime, reports The News Wheel.

Surprisingly, it is not just the Nissan Leaf that has been branded as way out of style but even BMW's segment was not spared. BMW i3 was also scrutinized and the call to restyle the 2017 rises as well.

The competition to be among leaders or gain leadership in all elements is pushing carmakers to shift their business core and promote unparalleled marketing stance. For Hyundai and Tesla, they have banked on design and style thus being spared from complaints but with the other EV segments, the underlying issues persist.

It appears that the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan Leaf, BMW i3 needs to undertake modifications to ensure that their segments are elegant, comfortable and not appear clumsy while it cruises on the road.
