Greg Biffle Secures Pole Position

Greg Biffle, NASCAR Sprint Cup points leader, earned his second pole position at Darlington on Friday.

Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne of Hendrick Motosports had to be satisfied with the third and fourth position. Leaving them behind, Greg remained consistent through the race and maintained the speed from the first to last finishing lap.

“I have already spoken to my friends three times in the media that the track at Darlington will going to be my best race ever and seems those words has come true. I was just having the greatest joy while driving my favorite car on the track and did enjoyed finishing at the second spot passing the checkered flag. Hope to finish in the top position for tomorrow,” said Greg Biffle.

Ryan Newman will start his race at the fourth position at Southern 500 followed by Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Carl Edwards, and Denny Hemlin who won at both Phoenix and Kansas this year.

“The results have been so far good for this year. And we have managed to keep up our position at the top on every weekend race. And beyond all this I loved driving this new car inducted at Kansas race. If our car drives this good on every weekend, it would be better for both my team and for myself to improve my personal bests,” said Biffle after securing the second in pole position.

Greg Biffle has been a Darlington master ever since he drove first race in 2003. He consistently won in 2005 and 2006 when the two laps were reduced in the Darlington.

“Those were the best laps of my career. The car was just built to face the track and made it a smooth way towards the finish line. I knew what I had to do and followed the exact precision of the technical team. The victory should belong to my engineers who have been working hard for the last one week to see my success,” explained Biffle.
