Honda announced on Friday that it will recall about 554,000 2002-2004 CR-V and 2003 Pilot Vehicles in the United States due to unexpected stopping of low beam headlight.

"There is a potential failure with the wiring of the headlight switch which may cause the low beam headlights to become inoperative,” wrote Honda. "The loss of the low beam headlights may increase the risk of a crash.”

The company added that no crashes or injuries have been reported related to this issue.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has investigated these models from last spring after received dozen complains about headlight matter. And the NHTSA enhanced its investigation level to an engineering inspection.

Owners of all these vehicles are recommended to take their vehicles to an authorized dealer once they receive notification of this recall from Honda.
