A woman was kicked off an American Airlines plane this week after she sang Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" for almost two hours straight according to a report by CNN.
The flight was diverted to Kansas City's airport on Thursday after the woman became "disruptive" according to CNN.
A passenger took a video of the woman singing the song as she was being taken away by police, and posted it online shortly after. It has since gone viral, collecting thousands of views by the hour.
"The passenger was detained, not arrested, and then released pending further investigation by the TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) and federal air marshals," said Tom McKenna, a Kansas City International Airport spokesman according to CNN.
"I can confirm that she was singing 'I Will Always Love You' as she was escorted off the plane." said McKenna.
Kansas City Aviation Department officials said to KMBC that the woman "failed to cooperate with a federal air marshal." KMBC also stated that the viral sensation told police that her behavior was due to her diabetes.
The flight was forced to land around 6 p.m., and flight records showed the plane was on the ground for over an hour before continuing to its planned destination according to KMBC.
The song was recorded by Houston for "The Bodyguard" soundtrack and went on to become one of the best-selling songs of the 1990's according to Billboard.com.
The song was originally written by Dolly Parton, who sold it to be used by Houston for the soundtrack. Parton said in a recent interview she doesn't regret selling the song and was proud at how "smart" she was for doing so since it made a lot of money.
