Nokia released the Lumia 920 last Friday but it has already received solid early reviews from critics and those who have been able to get their hands on the phone alike.

With a starting price of $99.99, people who do purchase the phone will receive a device with unique features, some of which are not available on other phones. The phone comes with a top speed of 4G LTW, an advanced 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Internet Explorer. With full SkyDrive integration and backup, features like your photos, music, and videos can sync to other devices.

A Skype app for the Windows 8 phone has also been made available by Microsoft. Initially there may be some issues with the app as there is with most things at first, but that shouldn't sway customers away from the device.

Microsoft famously purchased Skype last year for a reported $8.5 billion according to Yahoo, and they have been working on different ways to incorporate the app in there many devices. In an early preview for the app, Skype announced that customers will be able to use fimilar aspects that they have grown to love while still being introduced to new features that will only come available to the Windows 8 phone.

"In this Preview, you'll get all of the Skype basics in the new, modern design along with many of the new features such as integration with the People Hub and a combined contact list with buddies from Windows Live Messenger," said Derek Snyder, head of Skype's mobile product marketing, on the company's site.

NBC has already reported some of the new features that people will be able to use such as:

- Call friends and family with free Skype-to-Skype voice calls over 3G or Wi-Fi.

- Make free video calls to anyone else on Skype.

- Send instant messages or group instant messages.

- Make "low cost" calls to other cell phones and landline phones.

Nokia will also be offering new Lumia devices for the phone that should enhance your experience and enjoyment with the phone. One of the biggest features includes a Bluetooth headset that fits into a "small wireless charging dock" that you can leave in the dock until you need it according to the company.

People will also be able to use a charging pad to charge your phone wirelessly and a wireless speaker to hook up your phone to. This will help you play different types of media without having to use headphones or sync up with a computer.

Expect to see a new advertisement campaign to begin soon by the Microsoft Corp and some recognizable celebrities are scheduled to appear in the commercials. Names like Jay-Z and Gwen Stefani will reportedly appear in campaigns to advertise the phone.

The new slogan for the campaign will be "Reinvented Around You" according to The International Business Times to show how the company is motivated and determined to focus more on what the people want instead of making them like whatever the company puts out.
