Asus ZenFone supports both Augmented Reality (AR) and (Virtual Reality) VR which currently puts it on the top. Even though the phone's software has not been finalized, people are still impressed with what Asus showed them at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Asus created ZenFone AR with a lightweight and trim headset which makes it even easier to handle while retaining a premium feel. The back of ZenFone AR has a faux-leather texture made of plastic and it doesn’t look like anything else that is available on the market, Phone Arena reported. It also has a TriCam camera system on the back while the frame of the phone from aluminum. ZenFone AR has a 5.7-inch display with Super AMOLED panel and 2560 x 1440 resolution. With creating ZenFone, Asus made the first phone which supports both DayDream and Tango. It is also running on Android 7.0 Nougat and it feels very smooth. It also features 821 chipset with 8GB RAM which allows it to run as smoothly as possible.
Asus ZenFone AR is the first phone that comes with DayDream and Tango on the market. This means those who decide to purchase this phone will be able to enjoy both AR and VR on its pretty huge display with a very high-resolution. While DayDream’s Virtual Reality set can’t interact with the real world, with Tango people can scan the room, sense the depth and motion in front of them into a three-dimensional map. People can find this feature useful in online shopping, to see some piece of furniture in the room without buying it. Asus thought of everything, they even made its own cooling system in order to avoid overheating. It also has a great camera with 23MP which combines four pictures into one, C-Net reported.
