Malibu law enforcement officials have reported that Linda Hogan, ex-wife of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, was arrested on Thursday morning.
At 1:34 a.m. she was taken to a Malibu police station where she was booked and placed in a jail cell for driving while under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license. She was originally pulled over for speeding and had to fess up to the officer that her license had been suspended earlier in the year.
Her blood alcohol level was listed as .084, which is above the legal California drinking limit of .080. She was released later in the morning after posting the $5,000 bail.
Linda was on the way home from a Los Angeles jewelry event and had many glasses of champagne during the evening. She claims to have consumed all the alcohol on an empty stomach and mixed the drinks with antibiotics that can make the side effects of alcohol even worse.
It has not been an easy week for the former love birds.
Hulk Hogan made headlines himself yesterday after a sex tape video featuring the former WWE star began spreading throughout the internet. Hulk has already stated that he's talked with his lawyers to sue if the tape isn't taken off the internet completely.
The website Gawker.com posted the video, but how they got the footage exactly isn't known. Hulk is demanding the video be taken down and will sue if it isn't, feeling the site doesn't have the right to post the video.
Hulk did not consent to the video that was taken of him and was made secretly without his knowledge at the time.
