Auto shows all over the world leave quite a bit to be desired which appears to be the point. Luxurious cars are presented with the hope of enticing people to buy them after the show. Keeping the individual consumer in mind, there are large cars, sports cars and luxury cars from all over the world.
This year's car show in Beijing is no different that from years before. While still exciting in the showroom, there were a vast array of vehicle brands being displayed. The brands ranged from some of the most exclusive and expensive cars to some of the most quirky in styles. There were natural gas cars along with cars using traditional fuel. There were hybrids and cars created for the most specifically for some wealthy people in the world.
The Beijing Auto Show, as with a few others car events in major cities around the world, aimed to please and was successful in doing just that. Among the crowd were the beautiful women along with eager auto enthusiasts of all backgrounds. From the super rich to the browsing business person, there was something for everyone. The technology inside as well as outside of various luxury brands had the crowd roaring and hoping for a test drive. Of course, this is does not happen since the cars are exclusively for show.
The show seemed to have the industry buzzing when Victoria Beckham was featured in a media spot showing case the new Land Rover. A star within its own right, but it never hurts to have a high profile face appearing with a vehicle.
The show did not disappoint and leaves quite a bit of work to be done for next year's events success, but leave it up to the automakers because they always deliver and deliver very well.
