The 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) event promises to feature some exciting new products and part prototypes that outfit Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT vehicles.
To be held on the Las Vegas strip, this year's SEMA show will cover 15,345 square feet of exhibit space, some of which will hold show vehicles that have been "reimagined" with Mopar parts and accessories.
"Each creation we dream up for SEMA represents an original, unique interpretation of how customers can personalize and transform their vehicles with an assist from Mopar products," Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar service, parts and customer care, said in a statement.
"Our modified SEMA rides prove that whether owners are seeking more power, performance and style for the street, extra capabilities to get the job done or the freedom to go off-road and beyond, Mopar has the products to help get them there."
Here's a quick SEMA preview to give car fans a taste of the tricked-out vehicles that will be featured.
Dodge Challenger T/A Concept
A modern take on the 1970s Challenger T/A package, this concept muscle car has full-length matte black T/A graphics running down each side. The Mopar matte black front splitter at the Challenger concept's front "works in unison with the Mopar matte black gurney-lip deck-lid spoiler to provide additional downforce assist," Mopar said in a press release.
Ram 2500 Outdoorsman
The Ram 2500 Outdoorsman is ready to travel stealthily through forest settings with its camouflage design touches while featuring plenty of Mopar accessories. Extra elements include a concept Mopar roof rack and a concept seatback tailgate that becomes a two-seat bench by folding back toward the cab.
Chrysler 200S
Featuring Phantom Black Tri-coat exterior paint and an Ambassador Blue leather interior, the stylish 200S Mopar edition is enhanced with the addition of a unique front splitter, side sills, rear side sill extensions and rear valance, all from Mopar.
Fiat 500 Abarth Scorpion
For this tricked-out model, the Abarth Scorpion logo is enlarged, while the exterior red-and-white paint job emulates the theme of the Fiat 500L Custom. The front exterior also features carbon mirror caps and accent-color fog lamp pockets.
Jeep Wrangler MOJO
The Jeep Wrangler MOJO has "functionality to tackle the most extreme trails," and its 3.6-liter V-6 engine is enhanced with a cold air intake and low restriction exhaust system, according to Mopar. Additional components such as prototype LED headlamps and fog lamps complete the Orange Jeep model.
