11 Best Labor Day 2014 Car Deals Revealed

With auto loan interest rates at the lowest they've been in a long time and dealerships trying to clear out 2014 vehicles in time for next year's models, the upcoming Labor Day weekend will be an ideal time to look for a new vehicle.

GOBankingRates has partnered with Autobytel to create a list of the top sales and promotions on 2014 crossovers and SUVs, sedans, sports cars, trucks, and luxury models, according to a joint press release.

"Labor Day is a great opportunity to knock money off the MSRP of your new vehicle, but what a lot of buyers haven't considered are the costs they'll pay in interest on their auto loans. This weekend is offering buyers the chance to lock in financing at 0% interest - meaning people who wouldn't otherwise be able to purchase a car can take out a loan at no cost," said Christina Lavingia, an editor for GOBankingRates, according to the release.

By looking through hundreds of incentives and rebate descriptions from major automakers like Audi, Ford, and Hyundai, GOBankingRates and Autobytel found the best 11 Labor Day auto promotions.

Promotions include up to $6,000 cash back and 0 percent APR for up to 72 months.

Some vehicles that will be available for reasonable prices during Labor Day sales events include:

-2014 Audi A6

-2014 Ford Mustang

-2014 Hyundai Sonata

-2014 Nissan Maxima

"Labor Day marks the time when dealers move inventory to make room for new vehicles, which means you can find some great deals on existing models," said Michelle Naranjo, editor in chief at online car shopping website Autobytel.com, according to the release. "If you're in the market for a new car, now is a good time to buy, with solid savings on large SUVs to subcompacts, and everything in between."
