General Motors has announced pricing for both the 2015 GMC Canyon and the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, siblings in the midsize pickup segment.

Both models were last built in August 2012 and were not offered in either of the last two years.

Expected at GMC dealerships this fall, the new Canyon starts at $21,880, which includes $925 in destination fees, Edmunds.com reported.

The pickup truck runs on a 200-horsepower 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine and includes LED lighting and 16-inch aluminum wheels in the standard trim. Another available engine option is a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The fully optioned 2015 GMC Canyon SLT crew cab short box model is priced at $37,875 with shipping fees. The four-wheel-drive version has "leather seating, automatic climate control, 18-inch polished cast-aluminum wheels, remote start and an automatic locking rear differential," according to Edmunds.

GM has said that more details on pricing and EPA fuel economy estimates for both of the new pickups will be released for potential buyers prior to the sales launch.

For the new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, pricing will start at $20,995, which includes $895 in shipping fees. In the base trim, the midsize pickup is powered by a 200-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine linked to a six-speed manual transmission.

Available options include a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine with a six-speed automatic transmission as well as 4G LTE that includes a built-in WiFi hotspot. Buyers can also choose safety technology options such as forward collision alert and lane departure warning.

The midlevel 2015 Chevrolet Colorado LT crew cab with two-wheel drive and a 5-foot box starts at $27,985 with shipping, according to Edmunds.
