Reggie Wayne certainly knows how to make an entrance.
Just a year after showing up to training camp in a helicopter, the Indianapolis Colts receiver arrived to camp this year in the back of a racecar.
Wayne, 35, arrived in a double-seat IndyCar, driven by American driver Ed Carpenter.
"I think the best part is just stopping next to people at stop lights and seeing their face and reactions to having an IndyCar at a red light next to them.Everyone is fumbling around trying to get their cameras out," Carpenter said, according to Colts.com.
The Colts 14 year veteran climbed out of the doorless race car wearing a blue racing suit and custom Colts racing helmet.
Wayne called his training camp entrance his favorite ever after hopping out of the car.
"I enjoyed every single bit of that," Wayne said, according to Colts.com. "I'm a guy that likes speed and this is one way to get that into you."
Wayne is coming off an ACL injury that cut his 2013 season short.
He has been medically cleared to practice, though the six-time Pro Bowler is expected to be limited.
"I'm eager to get out and pick up where I left off," Wayne said. "I've been cleared. I am ready to go. We will just see from that point on."
