Volkswagen has announced that its 2014 VW Beetle Coupe and Convertible models will come available with an optional Premium package starting in July, according to a company press release.
The 2014 Beetle Coupe, equipped with 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and Premium package, will be available for $28,175, including a shipping fee of $820.
VW confirmed that its 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Coupe TDI, or diesel engine model with the Premium package starts, will be available for a base price of $30,175, including shipping.
The 2014 Beetle Convertible with the Premium package goes for $31,575, whereas the 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible TDI with the Premium package starts at $33,575.
Both prices include the standard $820 shipping fee, according to the automaker.
The package includes features that have never been found on the Beetle before, long with equipment only used on the Beetle R-Line trim level.
Features confirmed by the automaker includes: a sport suspension for 1.8T models, gray doorsills, mirror caps, R-Line bumpers with flight lights, bi-xenon automatic headlights, and 19-inch Torando wheels in white for 1.8T models, according to VW.
Other new features includes:
-RNS 510 system
-Volkswagen's flagship navigation unit
-climatronic automatic climate control
- rain-sensing windshield wipers
- seating surfaces with leather inserts
- a Fender sound system
- an iPhone 5 cradle
- auto-dimming rearview mirror
The Beetles will be available in a number of colors, including Platinum Gray, Deep Black, and Oryx White.
