Hyundai has announced the price for its 2014 Hyundai Tucson "The Walking Dead" Special Edition, which is on sale now.
The new vehicle starts at $29,775, including a shipping fee of $875, making it the most expensive Tucson in the lineup to date, according to a company release.
"The Walking Dead" Special Edition vehicle debuted back at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. It was designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "The Walking Dead" graphic novel series.
Specs found on the limited-production Tucson vehicle includes: a Zombie Survival kit, badging, and an exclusive graphics package, according to the automaker.
The survival backpack includes emergency drinking water, light sticks, and Kleenex. The cabin also gets a black leather treatment.
Hyundai offers the vehicle in Ash Black exterior with red accent graphics, a roof rack and in all-wheel drive to "to assist drivers when off-roading away from the undead," according to the automaker.
Vehicles are equipped with a 182-hp 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine, which is matted to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai is a big supporter of "The Walking Dead" franchise, coming up with three different Hyundai Zombie Survival Machines, and "The Walking Dead" Chop Shop configurator app in recent years.
The new model is expected to compete with the 2014 Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Kia Sportage and Toyota RAV4, among other models.
