One lucky winner will soon be having lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook at a bargain rate of $330,000--a little more than half of the price paid for a similar auction in 2013.

Auctioned off on the website CharityBuzz, the unusual lot includes a 1-hour lunch with Cook at Apple's headquarters as well as a VIP seat at an upcoming Apple event, BBC News reported.

This year's final offer seemed small compared to 2013, when an anonymous buyer shelled out $610,000 to go on a half-hour coffee break with Cook, according to Computerworld. The money will go to the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

While less than last year, the price still far overshot auctions like lunch with Ben Bernanke, former chairman of the Federal Reserve, which went for $70,500, or time with former U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, going for $50,000.

The lower price may also be due to a new credit card authorization step required to bid on the auction, according to BBC News.

For lunch with Cook, the winner, who hasn't been named, must arrange travel to Apple headquarters and pick out the lunch location. The winner can bring one guest and must follow security guidelines.

"Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must," said CharityBuzz, as quoted by Computerworld.

CNET noted that lunch with Cook is still a far hotter property than coffee with AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, which is currently at a mere $3,500 with one bid.
